Brittney and Aaron are one of those couples that you can’t help but like as soon as you meet them. They contacted me to shoot their wedding even before they even had a date established. She was an army vet, going through the police academy, and planning a wedding at the same time. We instantly connected as her friendly and sweet personality instantly jived with mine and a friendship was born. After we did their engagement photos at Discovery Park I realized how comfortable they both were in front of my camera, although Aaron would disagree… 🙂 and how awesome their wedding was going to be.
When couples connect with my work and can picture themselves in it honestly there’s no better feeling. We were scheduled to move back to PA in July after spending some time in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and because they were determined to have me document their wedding, they set the date for the last weekend in June.
They chose her family’s horse farm in Port Orchards, WA as the venue for their intimate and rustic wedding. From sunflowers to a handmade alter to a gorgeous horse, their wedding was full of amazing details, but more importantly full of love and laughter surrounded by their closest family and friends.
A special thank you also to my amazing assistant Laura of Fyrelite Photography who helped make this day run smoothly and got some great images from unique perspectives.
